At Vista Clothing, sampling is how we lock quality before bulk production. Below are our standard sample types, fees, and lead times — no surprises.
1. Sample Types

2. Sample Fees

- Fees cover pattern-making, cutting, sewing, and standard trims.
- Custom fabric is charged separately; a small dye-lot fee applies to custom-dyed sample fabric.
- Special processes (embroidery, custom prints, special washes) are quoted separately.
- DHL/UPS/FedEx shipping is charged separately (see Section 6).
3. Lead Time
- Proto / fitting sample: 7–10 working days after all details (tech pack, fabric, trims, artwork) are confirmed.
- PP sample: ~7 working days production + ~7 working days for your comments/approval.
- Lead time excludes shipping time.
4. Fee Deduction
Sample fees are fully deductible when your bulk order exceeds 500 pieces per style.
5. Revisions
- 2–3 rounds of revisions are included per sample stage (first sample, fitting sample, PP sample).
- Additional revisions are quoted separately.
6. Shipping
- Samples ship by DHL / UPS / FedEx / TNT.
- Freight can be collect on your courier account or prepaid (we confirm the cost with you before shipping).
7. What We Need to Start Sampling
- Tech pack or reference sample (design sketch + size chart + fabric specs)
- Pantone color references
- Logo / artwork files (AI, PDF, or high-resolution PNG)
- Label, hangtag & packaging requirements
- Estimated bulk quantity & target delivery date
